RMB CEO Alice Uwase Engages Ghana Gold Board on Knowledge Exchange

Accra, Ghana, 21 October 2026 – During her visit to Ghana, RMB CEO Alice Uwase, accompanied by Rwanda’s High Commissioner to Ghana, Rosemary Mbabazi, visited the Ghana Gold Board and held discussions with its CEO, Sammy Gyamfi, Esq., and senior management.

The engagement focused on knowledge exchange and opportunities to strengthen cooperation between Rwanda and Ghana. CEO Sammy Gyamfi highlighted Ghana’s USD 10.8 billion in gold exports in 2025 and underscored the importance of African countries sharing knowledge and working together to derive greater value from their mineral resources.

The engagement comes as Rwanda’s gold sector continues to grow alongside the country’s traditional 3T minerals: tin, tantalum and tungsten, reinforcing Rwanda’s contribution to the global critical minerals supply chain.
