RMB DISSEMINATES FINDINGS FROM JOINT PROJECT WITH THE ROYAL MUSEUM FOR CENTRAL AFRICA

Kigali, May 23, 2023 - In a significant move to enhance the understanding and utilization of industrial minerals and building materials found in Rwanda, RMB has today conducted a dissemination workshop aimed at sharing the final findings of a joint project carried out by RMB in collaboration with the Royal Museum for Central Africa. The project, sponsored by Enabel, sought to explore and analyze various aspects of these essential resources.

With key stakeholders from the mining sector in attendance, the event served as a platform to showcase the valuable data generated and its potential applications in industries and construction activities.

The dissemination workshop organized by RMB acted as a knowledge-sharing platform, bringing together representatives from public institutions, mining and quarrying operators, and academia.

The joint project between RMB and the Royal Museum for Central Africa has successfully generated a wealth of valuable data. Through extensive research, analysis, and collaboration, the project shed light on crucial aspects of industrial minerals and building materials available for exploitation in the city of Kigali and its satellite cities. These findings hold great significance for various institutions and sectors involved in the mining and quarry industry. Given the project findings, mining and quarrying operators can now leverage the data to optimize their operations.
